hi sorry if this has been coverd before but looked though the forum cannot find any thing when i chsrge the unit it turns on and cannot turn it off is there any way to turn the unit off whilst charging any help who be welcome.

What you are seeing is correct the device will remain powered up while charging, it doesn't have to have the screen backlight on though.

If you are getting that annoying bleep/ bleep from the device with a flashing backlight while charging every few minutes there is an option to stop that. Settings/ Power Control and make sure "Alert when screen off" is set to OFF - Mike

Thanks for that just wanted to know if everything was working ok will try to learn how to use it, its a very nice bit of kit
