Hello everyone
1st post.
I have downloaded south west american maps 2 weeks ago and I believe I updated my satnav at the same time. I'm not very Techi minded). I am wondering if I can download the buddy part of TomTom onto my Go 520, if so how do I do this?
Thanks in advance. |

To use the Buddies feature on the device you need a mobile phone connected via bluetooth which must have an active GPRS connection, do you have this capability with the current phone and nav unit set up and working? - Mike |

Whilst you might have handsfree conected to your phone you also need a GPRS data connection do you have that established?
If so does your phone connection provide a true GPRS connection, you sometimes need to have this activated and certain pay as you go services don't allow GPRS at all (O2 being one such company) - Mike |

If its a contracted phone i.e. you pay every month via direct debit or similar then you should be able to get it working as GPRS is available to O2 customers who request it .
If you use an O2 Pay As You Go service then forget it unless you feel like switching to T-Mobile or Orange - Mike |
