europe maps on dvd

Looking for a bit of advice please.
I recently purchased the 2010 europe maps on dvd
I am going to Holland and Germany soon and would like to transfer maps onto a micro sd card for use in my i3.
What size micro sd card should I purchase ?
Do I swap from UK card to Europe card on the ferry ?
Any tips would be most welcome

If you start MapSource then select what regions you wish to load to your i3 It will tell you how much space is required.

I don't have the 2010 map, but have just tried selecting everything on the 2009 map and it says it requires 1571.9MB including the UK.

So a 2GB would work fine. Can be found on flea bay for less than £5 including the adapter.
