I've run Debian exclusively for 12 years, and the only place I use M$ products is WM on my PDA for TTN. Seems to me that the navcore is a fairly insignificant part of the system, and would not be hard at all to port to Opie, for example, or Android. Is anyone aware of such an effort? Or of a reason it could not happen?
