I logged a report with tomtom support regarding the flickering screen/refresh rate while connected to RDS TMC on my 720 since the latest application update...Here is their reply that arrived this evening......

Dear+++++++,

Thank you for contacting TomTom Customer Care
The reference number for your query is ++++++++.

If you are having one of the problems described below, it could be that there are too many files in the flash memory on your device:

- You are unable to activate the map on your TomTom even though you have a valid product code.
- You have to enter the passkey every time you connect your TomTom with your mobile phone.
- Your settings are not saved when you turn your TomTom on and off.

Please follow the instructions on this webpage:-

http://www.tomtom.com/6178

You should no longer have the issues that you are experiencing with your TomTom device.

With Kind Regards

The TomTom Customer Care Team

This is displayed on tomtom website at the moment:
On Monday and Tuesday the waiting time on the phone can be quite long due to the busy period we are currently in. We advise you, if it’s possible, to contact us after Tuesday or send an email via the TomTom support page on our website.

Its no wonder they are in a busy period with all the problems they keep unloading on to us in their software updates!

Could it be that this week there is (are) Public Holiday(s) in the Netherlands? I know France had one Monday and Italy have one today (Tuesday).
