Saving maps to internal memery for blank sd cards

Hi all

I have a couple of 1:50000 maps which I often switch over and wondered if it's normal pactice to save such maps to the internal memery ?

If so is it an easy progress and recommemded ?

Nice idea, if I understand you correctly, but
(a) Satmap have not implemented it, probably afraid of map duplication. Currently a map must be on its associated card.
(b) Not sure the Satmap unit would have the memory capacity anyway.

Remember that Satmap do offer a service to consolidate different maps on to a larger capacity card, there is charge associated with this circa £15 IIRC, but if you want all your maps on a single card its the best approach - This way you never go out with the wrong map loaded for where you are going walking not that I have ever done this Honest!) - Mike
