Appreciate any clues/advice. Have always copied my favourites from Nuvi 760T using Easy GPS, but since updating the software, though may be a coincidence, cannot see the GPX file in Asy GPX or in Mapsource, both report errors in file, although I can load older files archived on PC, favouritres still OK on Nuvi.
Its not easy to update the old file with new favs which and then overwrite, but might have toi at a poush but added a few recently which I ewant to save, any suggestions on how to fix GPX file ?

I've seen the Nüvi repeatedly write a bit of gibberish into Current.gpx on occasion - you need to find out which Favourite is responsible, so you can delete it from the unit. (I suppose on the 760, it could potentially be a corrupted route or track instead).
This uses the the Saxcount program to validate the file against its schema. Unfortunately, somebody at Garmin moved their schema file, so now all their gpx files fail every time, unless you manually edit them, to include the correct definition
Try using the Trial Version of GeePeeEx Editor to edit your Favourites. If it can't read the file, it should at least give you a more detailed error message, as to why not.
...if all else fails, you can email me the gpx file...
