Hi,
I am going on a cycling touring holiday around E. Europe. Mostly Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia and Romania. I have a HTC Touch Cruise with TomTom W. Europe maps installed (on a 16 gig microSD card), but I read that TT maps for E. Europe are not much good.
So I am considering purchasing I Go 8 software and maps. Are the maps of any use for cyclists? Obviously I realise they won't have bicycle paths (I presume!), but what about minor road coverage? Its no fun on the main roads on a bicycle.
One thing that stopped me from getting Igo before was the restriction of a 2 gig dedicated card, but I see that there is a now a 4 gig card available? How much free space is on the card for music, pictures etc. I'd still rather they dropped this and allowed installation on 3rd party cards; 16 gig is readily available now and it won't be long before 32 gig microSD is available.
Thanks

I can't answer the first part of your question but for the second part a full installation of iGO8 with all West and East European maps is just under 2GB so you should have 2GB spare.
