Medion MDPNA 175 help

Hi,
Firstly, It says MD 95233 on the back of the unit, MDPNA 175 on the box.
Runs "Win CE.Net 4.2 Core"
I found some old posts on here, about how to hack it and get TomTom 5 running on it. I did this and it worked just fine.

Big problem though, when the device completely runs out of battery, when you next charge it and turn it on, it resets / wipes the handheld and re-installs its default software. This un-does the hack and means if you are unfortunate and run out of battery mid-trip, you are stuck without TomTom...

Can anybody help? I know it's an old (very!) PDA now, but here's hoping someone can help me out, Im doing my bit by recycling

Also, Is there any new navigation s/w that will run on this device with 7 digit postcodes perhaps?

Same problem here, I've found no solution to this. Although I have just bought a new battery on eBay for £8.99 which is worth a go.
