II just downloaded and installed new Home Bata 2.6.1512. There are some new features and Icons on it but there seems to be a bug in it. When I try and update from internal I receive an error and it shuts down, if I select my SD card it starts up fine.
It could be that I am using 8.032 app???

This new Home may work with other apps I don't know.

Update:
I just formatted my internal drive and reinstalled 8.010 backup with explorer. There still seems to be an issue with starting Home from Internal memory but starts fine when selecting SDHC card.

Works fine with my 540; thanks for the heads-up.

Works fine with my Go730T. Like the new little disconnect button - bottom right of screen.

Connected my other TT device and connected seamlessly without the problems I had with the last version. Must now install it on my laptop so I can connect and update whilst travelling.
Like the cleaner icons too.

Works fine with my 520. It said I had an incompatible Add In Extension for the Map update counter and did I want to uninstall it. Since the version on the machine would not work, I said yes.

The searched for an update, but there wasn't one available, so I thought well, not really a requirement, I won't bother.

Next time I opened HOME, the Map update counter was there, so it must be built in now.

I also like the disconnect button at the bottom.

Pity they can't update the maps as well. Razz

I like the way it gives you a warning that there's a new version!

I'm NOT getting this.... Sad

It seems to be switching between email accounts when I "Change device" between two different machines though. Smile

Hi Andy
I am using two machines and two different email addresses & two different computers (and two different operating systems). Nothing like working in sterio.
I have updated both computers with the Beta HOME & tested both TT devices on each one. Both switch between my two email addresses without problem, so all seems OK at the moment.
Mapshare counter (top right of screen) seems to be working OK but have not checked to see if number is the same on each of the permutations.

Mapshare counter has increased with the last update today from 15560 to 16072 updates in use.

Must update my signature!

When I go to the extensions tab in HOME, there is a new version showing along with the current version of TYRE.

Just noticed that Mapshare counter does not appear until I return to the home page (Page 1) after the initial pages that appear when first opening HOME with the device connected.

Still no counter here...
GeePee, what do you see if you look in Tools/TT Home Extensions?

I still have the status indicator showing, but as disabled.
There is an "enable" and a "uninstall" button, but some bright red text underneath saying "this add-on cannot be used with the version of Home currently installed".

So (of course) I just clicked on "Enable" and it said it had done it successfully!

Still no sign of it though.

The "change device" option is greyed out on my menu.

When I disconnect a device and connect another device the auto update function does not work and I have to select "update my go" for the second device.

The "operate my go" function seems to lock up on the 940 if I try to view TT Weather and it did not bringup the usual red screens about content being purchased for a different device.

The mapshare counter was red and said a new map may be available but then it offerred me some mapshare updates and went green.

The news release from TT arrived late last night. I have now posted a news item with forum link containing the list of feature updates in this release.

Can I ask you all to continue discussion here.
