Grid references

Hi, I have copilot7 running on my Orbit2 I also run Memory Map V5 and I was being told by a friend who runs TomTom that he can use Grid references as POI to get him to the start of green lanes then uses MM to navigate the lanes..
Is this possible with Copilot7 ? If so how? in technophobe talk please .

Gone for simples and now have TomTom One V3 1gig
Memory Map V5 on laptop and GPS.
I couldnt get on with Copilot V8

Go to Destination - Coordinates and choose from 'Degrees Minutes Seconds', 'Decimal Degrees', 'Decimal Minutes' and 'OS Grid'
