tt740 & BB 8310 issue

Has anyone else had the problem that when the phone book is "collected" from my BB only the numbers are transfered - i.e. no name information comes over. This is pretty useless - is there a simple fix?

Yes, quite a few have this problem (including my son with a Samsung phone.
Apart from complaining to TomTom (which might make you feel better but will get you nowhere), all you can do is manually edit the file to add the names.
There's a spreadsheet you can download to help do this, or you can do it in a simple text editor like Notepad.

Yes, my work-issued Blackberry 8820 exhibits the same behaviour.

My iPhone on the other hand, works perfectly.
