mini USB TomTom RDC-TMC Traffic Receiver

Hi all,

Sorry for such a simple question but I have searched and cannot find a conclusive answer to my question.

Im looking to by the new(ish) mini USB TomTom RDC-TMC Traffic Receiver.

Does the above receiver allow for the USB power cable to be plugged into it. Therefore both powering the TomTom but also allowing traffic updates.

The power lead plugs into the RDS-TMC receiver, which then plugs into your device.

So, a single power lead powers the TMC receiver AND the device and you should get traffic updates (provided that your TMC receiver is installed correctly and you're not in a poor reception area).
