The Community Speedwatch campaign, led by Diss Town Council to target speeding in Diss, has not been able to recruit a volunteer to use the hand-held speed camera.


Nice to see the locals there have some sense, this is not a job for community busybodies. If there is a genuine issue with speeding in a particular area then it is the responsibility of the local Police to enforce, not 'concerned volunteers'.

It is yet another example of policing on the cheap. The CSO debacle is another. Grrrr
