|
|
Hi ,
Having upgraded to the 540 my home now keeps bringing up the old foreign cameras for update when i update my 540. Althought the list is all unticked i believe these are from the old plus subscription which i used with my 530 and the same pc and log in.
As i will be using the HD premium from now on i dont really need this list to keep coming up only for me to ignore it.
What would i need to delete and from where, would be very helpful so these dont appear every time i connect.
many Thanks

I think you are prompted because you have an active subscription.
The only thing you could do to avoid being prompted would be to contact tomtom support and ask them to cancel their subscription. |

Thanks,
Tomtom have removed the plus subscription from the account already because of the 2031 error.
I think its picking the info from either the device or home files on the pc. I have already tried deleting files and retrying but they still appear after updating.

I don't think it is anything on the machine prompting it, but purely the records on TT's servers.
Currently, I'm continually being told to download a version 6 (!) GB map and the postcodes to go with it. Those were bought for a Go 300 I haven't owned in years, but it *was* on the same account name. |

Thanks for all the input but i think i have done it now.
It was all the foreign speed cams that i had not installed from the plus subscription.
So installed them all in home then just deleted all the old cam files from the uk folder on the tomtom, so now i only have the premium in there and so far home has not prompted me to install any more old ones.
Fingers crossed

I uninstalled the tomtom speed cam files using the remove items sections in Home. |

That stops them from being used but doesn't stop HOME from offering you them every time you dock your device.
I just ignore them but if you have another update you do want it is a PITA to uncheck all of them each time _________________ Darren Griffin |

Same here!
It keeps offering me the V6 Post codes - I assume it's because i used the same account as I had for my TTN6 - even though I had changed the device to my new 720. _________________ Phil |
