Goran,

You might like to try my POIConverter program which will read an AutoRoute Map file (*.axe) and extract the Pushpin data. I have not tried it with AutoRoute 2004 so please let me know if it works.

The program is in the Downloads area under POI Icons and Converters in the PC section.

Mick,

Thank you for the feedback. I am still using AutoRoute 2001 so perhaps it is time to upgrade. Especially now I know that POIConverter works with it.

I am adding Excel input and output to POIConverter using a German Fortran callable library qtXLS. I would be pleased to hear from anyone likely to use the new feature and of any particular requirements.

Goran,

Did you get any errors when the program was installed? If you did not, then please email the AXE map file that is failing and I will try it.

My email address is in the Help file.

I have downloaded poi converter. When I run the file it loads as AeroMap Poi manager. When i try and import the axe file I get the error "invalid format". The link you have supplied doesnt work for me so I downloaded it from elsewhere.

Here is the url for the axe file I wish to convert http://www.geocities.com/its_yahell/Programs/6300BTsites.axe

That cannot be my program. You should be able to download version 3 of my POIConverter program from the Downloads area. The program is under POI Icons and Converters/PC.

I have tried POIConverter v3 on your file and it read it OK.
