940 reporting road closed when its clearly open

2 days ago I had to travel from Leytonstone East London to Mile End. So I typed in to the 940 the address and it told me a road was closed did I want to avoid it, of course I did and it took me a long away around, avoiding the A12 East Cross Route.

Yesterday I had to drop into docklands and again the quickest way is right down the A12 East Cross Route again the 940 told me the road was closed but I thought as there was nothing on the radio about this road being closed I would just ignore TomTom. Guess what the road was not closed and it open as normal.

I just turned the 940 on to see if its still reporting the road closed and it is... What is going on with this HD traffic is it so far advanced it knows which roads are closed even before they are closed?

My Traffic is upto date along with maps but on the taffic maps it clearly shows the road closed from Major Road junction around to High St and Mile End Road.

Anyone else seeing this?
