I know errors and observations can be fed back to Garmin, but there is no real incentive to do so, because:
(1) You will not receive a quick fix.
(2) It takes time and effort on your part
(3) If you want to benefit from that effort, if Garmin even deign to make the changes, you'll be expected to pay for the privilege, and its not an inconsiderable charge. In fact a map update from Garmin is so expensive, it is often better to buy a cheap new GPS and get the latest maps for free like I did.
I am beginning to wonder why I went with another Garmin. I liked the i3 very much, but it was my first ever GPS, and decide to stick with a brand I knew. Reading around about Tom-Tom and how you can make more changes of your own, I do rather wish I changed over.
