plotting gps data onto a map

Hi all,

I'm not entirely sure if I'm asking in the right section but I could use a bit of help if at all possible.

Our company are trying to figure out the best way to perform a survey based on RF signal strength around various streets. We will recieve data in a text file which contains the following information :

EASTING: NORTHING: SIG_LEVELdBm
567999 : 189960 : -46.85

Now the idea is to plot on a map in the specific gps co-ordinate a coloured dot which indicates the signal strength, for example red may indicate a weak signal and green signal may indicate a strong signal.

Does anyone have any idea what software could be use to perform this.

Look at Google Earth but you might need to consider using Lat/ Long rather than Eastings/ Northings although these figures can be translated from one format to another quite easily - Mike
