I added the pgpsw cameras to my 940 and thought i'd also add the spoken alerts from the free downloads etc.
Anyway i followed the instructions to the letter, but i couldn't get them to work, so i figured that as the 940 is so new it might not be compatable?

I decided to install the ogg files into the 940's sound folder instead of the map folder where the cameras reside, and now they all seem to work fine, it was a bit of faffing about to select the right sounds for the right camera etc, but i just checked with a demo and all seems fine.

Is this how it should be done with a 940, or have i made hard work of it? Confused

Would be grateful for any advice

Thanks Steve Wink

Have a look Here.

The spoken alerts we offer are fully compatible and I have them working from the map folder on a 940 here.

Assuming you have the correct sound files installed then a soft reset normally fixes any issue when configuring them.
