There was a new version for my C550, too (same version number I think?).
One thing I've tried since updating - never have previously - is sending a text message. I've always been able to read them on the unit (I don't mean when driving, of course!), but today I thought I'd just try and send a text.
It composed OK, and let me choose a phonebook entry to send to, then just sticks in the outbox (on my C550), but never actually gets sent by my phone. Never tried it previously, so I have no idea if this is specific to this new version of bluetooth firmware.
I don't see anything on my phone's text outbox for this message.
With a Nokia 6230 it works fine. Message still shows in Outbox but it arrived on my other phone. What if you manually enter the number?
To be honest, I've not actually checked the other phone (my wife's), it could well be it arrived OK. It was just with seeing it sat in the outbox, and I think I got some other message when trying to send it, too.
Reading previous texts, even ones I've sent works, though. If it was actually sent, I'll post back for completeness.
To be honest, it's not particularly important to me - I've only just tried it this time, out of curiosity, I've no interest in actually using it to send or receive texts.
