7.900 application on a Tom Tom GO using 7.163 and UK+RoI map

Earlier I updated my 7.163 application on the Tom Tom GO Classic to the 7.900 version offered by Tom Tom Home 2.4 only to find my device locked up and had to be fully restored.

When I queried this with Tom Tom they advised as shown below my sign off below:-

The only problems with the response are:-
* Tom Tom Home 2.4 again tonight offered me a 7.900 application - this suggests what they state is not true yet at least.

* They did not answer my question about updating application 7.163 to 7.900 when using UK+RoI v7.10.1571 maps but perhaps their answer suggests they are aware of a problem.

We have been advised that the 7.900 application has been withdrawn from our servers and we advise that you need to go back to the previous software version.
