voice alerts

Hi

I have a garmin nuvi 700 but cant get the voices to work
I always use the speed zone cams so I dowloaded the correct voices but still not working.

what am I doing wrong

Hi and welcome.

First have you got the right set of voices? You need to make sure you have an mp3 file that matches each of your CSV files and BMP files.

ie.

GATSO.csv
GATSO.bmp
GATSO.mp3

etc

Then add these files to the folder on you PC that holds your POIs and Speed Camera database for uploading. Then upload the lot (BMPs, CSVs and mp3s) with POILoader.

Hello Sir, as an i3 user, current not retired !! can you tell me can I use the camera voice alerts on the i3, I have been trying to wear the unit out but it just keeps on working, and the wife won't let me buy a new one until it fails (perhaps I should get a new wife !!) I have tried installing the mp3 files, they install ok but don't actually work. I would appreciate any help you can offer,. Thank you. Ben.
