I was thinking of buying an io play for the car.

I experimented with the display setup in Halfords (with a salesperson breathing down my neck) and while it worked perfectly with my Nokia N95 I could not get my TT 520 to discover it let alone connect.

Has anyone used one of these devices or looked at it and discarded it as an option?

edit to add:

It appears to operate just like a Parrot MK6100 kit so any comments on this also would be appreciated.

Follow the link in This Post for some additional information on how to get around this issue, Andy later confirmed it was working with plenty of different devices.

If you decide to do this I would suggest the following:
1/ Fully backup the device using Windows Explorer
2/ Download and install the work around files
3/ Go back to Halfords and try again, don't let them tell you the Nav unit won't work, it will do.
4/ Post back with your findings - Mike

Thanks Mike

Unfortunately I already have that hack/fix installed from when I was trying to connect to a car headunit.
