910 - MUSIC CONTROL BUTTON NEEDS REMOVING

During 'playing' with my tomtom 910 (with ipod attached) and added a 'button' to main map page which took me straight to the music menu.

However, decided I didn't like it, but can't find out how to take it off. Seem to have gone through every menu and preference sheet without success. Have even tried to reboot the machine to normal settings, and this didn;t work.

Any suggestions - they would be greatly received.

Change Preferences/ Quick Menu preferences and de-select the checkbox adjacent to the TomTom Jukebox in the list - Mike

can't see a menu item 'Quick Menu' - could it be names something else?

Is there a "Show all menu" icon in Change preferences? - if so select that and you should be able to locate the Quick menu preferences icon - Mike

No, still cant see one.

Pref 1 - Use Night Colours, turn on 2d, safety pref, show poi on map, turn off sound
Pref 2 - Volume, Manage Fav, change home, manage maps, manage pois
Pref 3 - Status bar, set clock, docking pref, change colour, brightness
pref 4 plann pref, toll roa, compass, change voice, change language
pref 5 - set units. operate left hand, keyboard, name pref, show tips
pref 6 - set owner, speaker, battery, edit tomtom plus, start-up
pref 7 - bluetooth, disable wireless, show fewer menue, guided tours, reset factory settings

confused......

I think you'll find the answer in THIS TOPIC.

(The 910 doesn't have a full Quickmenu mike...)

great - thanks for that (have copied in the instructions if anyone is reading this thread).

"To get rid of it, go to Music & Media/TomTom Jukebox/ and choose a track. Once it is playing and you are on the main jukebox screen go to the Options button and untick the option "Show music button in Driving View".

Must say that would explain how I found it - but what a stupid system. Confused

Presume this is an oversight by TomTom, but it would be good if they corrected it.
