250W Menu Bar Display Size.

I wonder if anyone can help me please. I've just bought a Garmin Nuvi 250W and on the main Map display screen, the Menu bar at the bottom of the screen does not stretch all the way across.

However on my 250W the Menu bar only takes up the middle part of the screen, like this: https://buy.garmin.com/shop/alt-image-lg.do?pID=13834&img=productImageLarge

I've looked in the Settings but I cannot see any options to change this. Is there a way I can get my Menu bar to stretch right across the screen, and thus be displayed larger?
