Can the voice announcements be delayed

Is it possible to introduce a delay or a period of silence for app. 2 seconds at the start of the route announcements.

The reason for this request is that my TomTom 710 connects to my car radio in my Seat Altea car via the factory fitted interface and the start of all announcements is lost in the delay in muting the radio.

The tomTom works fine on its internal speaker.

Not sure about the 710, but recent devices allow you to record your own voice announcements. If you can do this, you can always build in your own 2 second delay (and hope that you haven't passed the junction in the intervening 2 seconds!).
