Hi
I've searched your forums for information on our problem, but can't seem to find anything, so apologies if this question has been asked before.
We've just purchase Fugawi intending to use it with our Handspring Platinum and Magellan GPS companion. The software installs to the PC and Handspring OK, but when we try to export map selections, nothing happens.
By nothing, I mean:
In Fugawai, select area on map and use the Edit\Export selection to PDA option to get it in to our PDA library (complete with name and everything)
Check it out in Forms\PDA library to make sure it's there and check the options (everything's fine
Hotsync...and we get a completely blank screen on the Handspring. We don't get a map list window when selecting the maps menu option and are at our wits end for different permutations of things to do.
Any help would be very gratefully received as we're off on holiday for 2 weeks tomorrow and wanted to avoid getting lost on the moors using this system...
Just realised this is a Palm and not Pocket PC. This could be a firewall issue if you have firewall software installed, as it will require a port opened. Failing that it could be a HotSync issue.

I vaguely remember having some similar problems with my T3 and Fugawi about 6 months ago. Unfortunately I cant remember how I solved them.
A couple of things to try though.
1) Make sure the Maps are exported to to the SD card.
2) Make sure you have the latest upgrade from Fugawi.
3) I installed the Fugawi app on the Palm memory, dont know if this makes a difference.
4) Try installing a small map on the handspring main memory.
Sorry I cant be more explicit. I havent had Fugawi running on the T3 for some time now. _________________ Mike Barrett
