Does anybody know how to prevent the TomTom Invalid Version warning appearing when opening TomTom Home.
I have version2 TomTom One with Application Version 8.010, United Kingdom & Ireland Map Version725.1883.
I Know that i shouldnt have this app version but hey it allows the Change Car option to be there.
Any help would be grately appreciated |

It may not be the answer you're looking for .... but it seems a good enough reason.

Can you tell us the exact wording of the warning please? It may be possible to get rid of it.
Are you sure it relates to the application version installed on the tomtom?
I have seen a warning similar to this when home is updated but the mapshare indicator add-on has not been updated to match the new version of home.

| i know what warning you are getting as i has it when i updated my one first edition it say that it is running illegal software as tomtom have not released v8 for our tomtoms, but after several days of getting bugs and lockups i reverted back to v7 software, but there is no way of removing that warning but map share updates still work |

The exact wording is
"Error when contacting server. You have an invalid version of the TomTom application installed on your TomTom device. To use HOME you need to install the correct version of the TomTom application" |

Sorry to hear you had issues with your tomtom version 1.
I have a 1st and a 2nd edition running it with no probs. |
