Uhoo itsmee again.
question
On the viamichelin x960, how can you choose a choice of road to use eg. if you choose a particular destination and perhaps it has two main roads going to it,
like A1 & A66 if sat nav chooses A1 how can i over rule it and select A66

On my 980 I used to route via a town(s) on the road I wanted to use, then check to see if it stayed on it. Alternatively, if you want to use a particular road, then just use it - after a while the satnav should give in and let you have your own way.
I don't know of anything more direct now with the VM, such as blocking the use of a particular road. _________________ David

cheers David,
where i live the sat nav routes me down a local trunk road, and the A66 runs parallel to it and this is my prefered route, so will try doing what you have suggested.

All the best. Anonther thing has since occurred to me. You might like to see if there's any difference between 'recommended' and 'quickest' routing. _________________ David

If you know where you are going why do you use a Satnav?
Do we need to hire the CERN accelerator for a weekend to find the answer, or is it something simpler that I am missing . |
