Deleting database on nuvi 300

Following a recent update of camera database the warnings give the wrong speed limit to a camera ie. 2mph or 19mph for a 30mph zone. I would now like to delete the existing files and start with a fresh download as I cannot be sure the new download will correct these wrongs. Unless someone can better advise me.

when you install anything using poiloader it automatically removes current files first so by reinstalling you will remove the currently installed files.

however, there is no need to redownload a fresh copy of the database. the one you have is fine, you just installed it wrong ;)

in poi loader one of the first options is to tell the software to install files in meters/km or feet/mph - you need to select feet/mph then you will get 30mph warnings as opposed to 19mph warnings.

basically, you told poi loader that it was a 30kph warning but as your nuvi is running in mph you got your 30kph warning converted to 19mph :D
