Garmin ZUMO 550

does anyone know who actually makes the motorcycle cradle for this SatNav ? I know its not Ram Mounts as I have already spoken to them. The reason I ask is this: On that cradle is a rubber protector to cover up the connection pins when the device is not being used. The original protector that Garmin used was a solid rubber with a magnet in the middle, and when that was placed over the pins it gripped and stayed in place. However that has now been replaced with a new rubber cover that has a magnet in the underneath of it (so that when the satnav is in place it magnatises itself to the underneath of the cradle) but when it is placed over the pins the rubber is hollowed out to accomodate the pins. Now what ive found is that when you place that cover over the pins it doesnt grip or magnatise etc and that once the bike is moving it soon jumps off. Now yes I realise that you could put a rubber band or something over it, but thats hardly the point. Ideally if I could get one of the original rubber grips that they used that would sort the problem. But having spoken to Garmin about this they said that if they sent me a new rubber grip it would be the same as the one that ive already got. And then they suggested that I sent the whole kit back to them for them to have a look at, which I think is a pointless exercise. So can anyone help ? Cheers

That reminds me, Mine is the same, I phoned Garmin up and they said they would send another. They never did
However, I so like the Zumo I never go out without it
The original rubber was redesigned because of problems with it perishing and splitting.
