|
|
I've installed the correct files and have all the voice files all matching names.
When setting up for warnings:
I get first screen - select the camera
second screen select warning distance
then strangely...
third screen "is this the sound you want" - yes / no
but I haven't yet had a screen offering any sound to be selected!
and if I select no, the next screen says... "no photos found"
Anyone any idea what's going on here |

Taken from the instrcutions on the VOice File Download page.
Quote: | Version 7/8 Note:
With the arrival of Version 7 & now 8 there is a small bug/change that affects the procedure. If you have installed the .ogg file packs you will be asked to choose a sound but will not be offered any options, this is normal. You will be asked 'Is this the sound you want?'. You should answer Yes on this screen. If you do, you will then see the warning distance screen and can proceed as normal.
If you mistakenly answer No then you may get a message saying No Photographs and the unit will freeze. If you have mistakenly done this, simply reset the device and start again, this time answering Yes when prompted. |

sounds to me like you have a voice file on your tomtom, so it chooses that one automatically when you set up your cameras, don't select no select yes try loading another voice on like liz whittaker or a.n.other and you will get a choice of voices then i think |

Thanks Paul
Never thought of checking for any changes to the procedure since the last time I set this up (quite some time ago)! |
