adding pois one by one (by curent location) 660 nuvi

Hey all,
I've been a Tomtom user for years until I bought the disgusting bug ridden 930. Now I just picked up a closeout deal Nuvi 660.
I have about 1000 locations stored in a POI catagory for work and add to the catagory often on the TomToms by creating new poi in catagory.
Is there an equivalent function in the Nuvi? As in I am at a location and select new poi then the catagory then by curent location or lat/lon?
From what I have read here it kind of looks like I have to add the whole poi catagory at once.
Oh and this is just for new ones, I have already converted from ov2 to csv.

you can't add directly to a POI category on the nuvi. at your location press the map to go to 2d view and select the point on there. then press 'save' which will add it as a favourite.

then, when you get chance, look through your favourites (where to \ favourites) and get the lat/lon etc from there and manually add it to your csv file then reload.

OK, thanks for the reply.
Yes thats what I was afraid of. I guess it's not so big of a deal if I just keep the favorites then once a week (month) add them into the poi csv file.
