So, my Nuvi 360 arrived today.
I've registered it, updated the firmware to 4.70, set my home, paired with my phone, put the French speed cameras in as POIs (I'll subscribe to this site's database on my return), saved my holiday ovenight hotels as favourites and downloaded the Spitfire icon.
What next - (apart from using it to navigate from place to place).
I have a couple of questions.
Do you get the warning about navigating - and the "New data found on card" every time - can it be switched off ?
Secondly, I bought this with V10 maps - how do I know I have them ? "Map Info" just says "City Navigator Europe NT 2008" (or is 2008 definitely V10?) |

Say "Yes" to copy, and then "Skip" the individual file(s). Unlikely as that seems! |

Take a complete backup of all files (including hidden ones) just in case something becomes corrupt. Note in over two years of using a Nuvi 300 I haven't needed to resort to the backup. |

Thanks - I don't see a specific backup utility - I take it you just mean connect the device and when Windows "sees" it as a drive, backup in the normal way. |

That's the way. Also burn a copy to DVD when done... |

Yes; just make sure you get any hidden files. |
