Trumpion TR101 faulty no maps

Hi i have has a Trumpion TR101 since chrimbo and it has been working fine with tomtom maps (i know bought the sat nav from ebay) anyhow i turned it on the other day and now it says no maps found!! The maps are however still on the sd card...i have since installed new maps onto another card and it still says the same, so it has to do with the sat nav...any ideas how to fix it.

As this device will be running the PDA version of TomTom Navigator have you got the product codes for the maps you have purchased? - Mike

No, when i bought the sat nav it came with the maps...was from a company in china i think so did not really get much with it
