|
|
Hi
I'm new, and possibly being very stupid.
I got a 520 a few days ago, and very impressed I am too.
So, I bought a Kingston 8gb SDHC card to put music/tv on, anddepsite formatting it to FAT32 I cannot for the life of me suss out how to access the files I have transferred to the card!!!
The tomtom instructions don't cover the sd card, which I find utterly bizarre, so I am hoping you good folks can nudge me in the right direction?
How do I find the sd card on the 520 menu first of all???
Cheers in advance. |

Any files that reside on the SD card must be in correctly named folders in order for the device to find them, start with the music (mp3 files) - create a folder named "mp3" (no "" and make sure it is lower case).
Put your music files into the mp3 folder, insert the SD card to the unit and switch it, the unit should list the music when you go to Music and media / TomTom jukebox, select Playlist and it should list each of the artists including those stored on the memory card - Mike |

So if I name photos erm... "photos" the same rules apply?
I may sound daft, but I have to take things 1 step at a time or my brain starts seeping through my nostrils.

Mike,
You're a star. Thanks pal.
I'll be back on soon for advice on the rest of my device no doubt. |
