Is there any way you can display all of your POI in a category you have formed yourself? It would be far easier to find them, as sometimes they are not shown (only the nearest 20 or so). The old menu used to say find poi within 150 miles etc etc but this has now disappeared from the menu!

In Browse Map, you can Enable the POI Category under Options.

This will allow you to view the locations on the Map, but you may have to zoom in as there appears to be a finite number that it can display on the Map at any one time.

You can drag the Map to the area that you want to check out, and zoom in there.

Thanks, I use that method, Is there not a third party application that deals with this?

Ok thank's, it would have been a lot easier if they had left it as it was. It only brings the first 20 or so up and within a radius of about 15-16 miles.

I think it's a case of how many (24), rather than a mileage limitation.

I created my own POI and called it favourites, the problem is - I have over a hundred and counting, sometimes its a pain to find them. I know its not theend of the world but it would have been a lot easier if I could draw a list up like you could - within 150 miles etc.

You might want to try Tyre and Google Earth on the PC, this will do what you want but it doesn't involve the TomTom hardware - Mike

If you have a rough idea of where you want to go, you can set it to show either:

The nearest 24 to any city/town - (Navigate to / POI / POI in city),

or:

The nearest 24 to any place on the map - (Browse map / tap to place cursor / cursor button at bottom / find POI nearby)

Sometimes its not as easy as it sounds that one - you almost have to remember exactly where these places are - Manchester doesnt always come up with the goods, it could be Trafford Park etc and if you havent been for a while its a pain remembering what it deems as the city - if you get what I mean.

That's exactly why I use my method 2 usually.

Yes, method 2 sounds about right! Why do they change things that work perfectly ok?

Has anyone found a fix for this problem?

Or is it possible to revert back to the older software version?
I have just installed the latest version and now I cannot list all my customer poi,s. only the first 24.

my problem is that my poi file is provided to me by my company, so when the ask me to go to a customer I can just pick it from the list and it takes me there.

I dont allways know where in the country the customer is, so I cant say near anywhere!! I just want to see the whole list like it used to show..
