I've used Glarestomper shades (the ones sold above) and they're very good. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I'm still hoping Drumma will bring out a shade for the x20, as the Glarestomper requires sticking velcro to the device. _________________ Anita

Anita, how do you do it??
I see that you have posted a link, but have printed the word Drumma.
In my original post, I wanted to say HERE instead of http://www.gps-shades.co.uk/index.html.
What with fancy ways of writing and messing about to post pictures, I will be either bald or grey soon _________________ TT Go 720 (T)

It's quite easy, do it like this (ignore the CODE bit, it's the stuff inside you need to pay attention to!):
Code: | Friendly name
e.g.
The No1 Website
|
Gives you:

I understand that Drumma do not plan to offer any new visors, apparently manufacturing costs were high and sales low, a shame as I and others rather liked their solution _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks for that info, Darren. What a shame.
I had a Glarestomper for my i3 and didn't like it. I'll try to make something myself for my 720, but I expect I shall have to give in and get one. I've searched the internet for an alternative several times without success. _________________ Anita

Thanks for all the replies Guy & Girls
Pitty Drummer are not going to make any more, that look just like what I wanted.
Why O Why after all these years do TomTom Devices still have such rubbish screens.
I can hardly see mine when the sun is out and not at all with sun glasses on. On the other hand the screen on my Nokia n95 can be clearly seen at all times.
It realy is about time TomTom corrected what is to be just about the only thing wrong with there product.
Think I shall pop down to the local Modal shop and get some black Plasticard and knock up my own.
Paul

Paul, Have you looked at the 320 model from Here - I like these as they work well in use and offer additional screen protection when the device is not in use. Easy to fit, well worth looking at - Mike |

Strangely I can see my screen much better than I could my old iPAQ. And in bright sun, I can see it even better when wearing polarised sunglasses. _________________ TT Go Essential |

The screen doesn't seem as bright on my 930T as it is on the TomTom One V3.
Incidentally, still for sale if anyone interested |
