USA maps

I'm going to the usa in early august and was wondering if any one knew when ver 8 maps are coming out for the 720. It's seem stupid to have a tomtom running V8 and then buying ver 7 maps!!!!

As the current map "Sale" is running to the end of July I doubt the new maps will be released before then, leave your purchase until a few days prior to the trip - Mike

You can buy the V8 maps on tomtom.com if you say that you have a GO730
