is the TomTom GPS running on its own (you can start it from Start...Settings...System)?
Or, fwiw - any other GPS application besides TomTom?
What GPS receiver are you using? _________________ Lutz

Well I installed tt2 with gps 2.08. Before that i had set my bluetooth fortuna gps clip on up to port 4. Should this be on another port?
What i tried to do as well was after installing, before running uninstall the wizard then upgrade to 2.24 and the 2.09 wizard, it went to unpack the files but after it unpacked them then nothing happened! Never seen it happen before.
Thanks |

Yes, TomTom GPS starting with version 2.08 are bending the BlueTooth stack and changing the COM port. If possible use 2.07 _________________ Lutz

for get the last post done it heres how
bond the gps the the xda2 but dont select the use a serial port
open gps set to your bt gps ie ttwireless
second box select bluetooth gps (it the last option in the drop down box)
that should do it
the above was done on an xda2 with the lastest rom tt2 2.04 and gps 2.09
hopefully this will help and one with an xda the important thing i think is to not create an serial port profile for the gps tried this after seeing post on xda delopers thanks guys _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone.
