I finally managed to obtain an upgrade to ppc 2003 from hp for my ipaq 3870 and after installing it, the bluetooth support seems much better. I can switch off the ppc and it will resync the bluetooth connection on powerup. Although once it appeared to keep the bluetooth running even when switched off. I think that might case problems with battery life.... |

5. Some of my local towns are missing! Billericay (my home town) and Chelmsford (a larger town nearby) are not listed (in tomtom2 they were). I can type the name of a smaller nearby village, or a medium sized town nearby to find streets but it's very annoying.

Perhaps I worded it wrong - the town NAMES are missing. The roads within the towns are present, but I can't find them by typing in "chelmsford" or "billericay" first.
What's really daft anyway is the way it finds streets. For example, to find road in Billericay I can search for "brentwood", or other towns further away. I don't really understand how it's supposed to work. It seems to be OK with me typing in "CM12 0" or even CM2 1 to find a road in Billericay. I've noticed within London it's completely pointless. I can look for a road in Ruislip (West London) and it gives me road names in South East London. That was the same with tt2 though.
If you need any help with determining if specific roads in the area exist on tt3 then please let me know |
