Hows this,
I am still running on 7.481 ( on a TT720) and tonight going down the Brighton road Purley the speed limit changed to 29!!
I cant update to 8.010 because of some nonsence with my account.
So how did this speed change occur?? |

I would say it was the result of a mapshare update! others have submitted it and you've picked up the result.
That's why I only allow certified updates. _________________ iPhone 12 Pro

Someone will have altered the road speed to 30MPH and it has been shared with other uses via Home, the software has some sort of bug so when you enter 30 it changes the limit to 29, being MPH related this will only be problematic to UK users but stupid speed limits like this should not be sent out - it should be obvious what the limits are in increments of 10MPH - Mike |

Mike, think of us in Guernsey where our speed limits are 35mph & 25mph. We need the 5mph increments.
Edited to say they are 34 & 24 on the TTGo _________________ TT Go Essential |

Nah, you need better roads!!
Even 5mph increments would work elsewhere too because the fault is a rounding up error, whereby 29mph is not valid but 20, 25 or 30mph are valid _________________ Andy

Our roads are ok. We think a 10 minute queue is a traffic jam and the longest journey possible at 35mph takes about 25-30 minutes.
I think I misread Mike's post though. I thought he meant you should only be able to change the limits by increments of 10mph. I read it again and I don't think that's what he meant at all. _________________ TT Go Essential |
