Etrex Legend loading maps

Sorry to make this my first post

I have the above hand held gps, I have toppo mapping and city navigator I can load them onto the micro SD card one at a time is there a way to have both on at the same time and select the map to use.

I have browsed the sd card and each time I load a different map the one on the card is replaced

In your mapsourse program select the both maps 1 by 1 and send them to the gps unit ie display topo map select it with the map tool, then select city nav and select the areas you want. you will notice on the plane on the left both of the maps are being displayed in the list. Once you send them to your unit you will still have only 1 gmapsupp.img file but both maps will be in that file and can be switched from your map screen in the unit.
