Garmin Sat Nav Powering New Kenwood In Car Multimedia Unit?

Sorry if this is off topic

I was looking at this Kenwood Car Stereo Today (DNX-5220DT)

In the Specs it has satnav supplied by "Built in GARMIN Board"

Just wondering if anyone had come across this or any idea which Garmin It may be based on?

Hi, I have just fitted this unit to my car and love it. It does have some quirks - if you are in 2D map mode the map doesnt scroll as you drive so your pointer is not visible! but I use it in 3D mode anyway. I have not yet worked out how to install my own poi's. I was using TomTom in my previous car and whilst I prefer that for ease of use I imagine a lot of my preferences are simply because I was used to it.
I am not sure which version of Garmin this is based on
