Better antena options - non steel car!

I have a lotus which is made of glass fiber so any magetic or rear glass mounted antena will not work.

I want to fit an arial which will
a) boost the reception of TMC
b) give me better FM Radio reception as the Elise is bad at that!

What are my options to replace the standard bee sting arial - possibly with a boosted or powered one to improve my signal ratio?

I also use the SAT NAV in my wife's car so I need to be able to either replicate the connections or hack into the Honda civic arial as well.
