I have successfully loaded 2 POi files onto the SD card on my Nuvi250 using POILoader, one for European hotels and one for European petrol stations, I renamed the file each time after loading so it would not get overwritten. When I access the Custom POI menu it displays 'All Categories' at the top followed by an alphabetical listing of one of the 2 files, which is then followed by an alphabetical listing of the second file. If I select 'All categories' I get a listing of only items from the second file (petrol stations), if I want to access POI's from the first file I have to scroll to the individual file to access it - no nearest search is available. What I want is to either reproduce the standard Garmin POi (with the categories of Petrol, hotels etc) but with my own custom POI's, or be able to add to the existing Garmin POI's. The way it is at present is not very useful to say the least.
Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

if you put all your poi files (csv files) into sub folders and load them all onto the garmin at the same time then the names of the sub-folders become categories in the custom poi folder

Thanks MaFt
Just tried that and I get an error message from POILoader saying I'm only allowed 32 POI files in sub directory.
