Is it still SmartST Desktop? Is it just the "look and feel" that's different?
Can you still use the basic instructions, that say:
Quote: |
1. Run Navman SmartST Desktop on your PC (note that your screen may differ to that shown below due to differences in software versions).
2. Connect your Navman Device.
3. Click MAP | POI's to open the POI Editor. (or MAP | Points of nterest... in newer versions)
4. Click FILE | OPEN and point to the folder where you extracted the ASC files , e.g. C:\Temp\POCKETGPS_UK_GATSO.ASC
Note: Newer versions of the software, by default, ask for 'Files of type: CSV Files (*.csv)' You might have to put *.* or *.asc and press 'Open' in the File Name window in order to show the asc files. |
You may be the first to see this new version, so we need help to know what differences you are finding. |

I could provide a quick demo (screenshots inc.) on how to use the new Navdesk 2008 version if you like? (S-Series devices). NB. I use the single-file database as having seperate POIs for speed/type etc on this device slowed it waaay down. |

Please note there may be an inssue with this unit and the database as the S90 only handles 12,000 POIs maximum.
There are a lot more cameras in the database that that, i'm afraid but you can get rouind it by not installing the Mobiles for now... See this thread |
