"Pacman" type junction countdown

Hello.

I've seen example photos of the X970T with the Pacman-style countdown on screen when approaching the next junction/instruction.

My X970T New Edition has the thermometer-type countdown gauge which is fairly discreet and consequently not that useful.

Can I select the Pacman-type display on my model, or is it exclusive to older models and the X980T?

The display was changed in v7... the pacman style refers to the way it displays the junctions not the countdown.

i.e junctions and islands have a dotted line on them showing the correct way / exit to take....and generally are a true representation of the junction in front of you.
