S30 doesn't have Navpix installed.

Can I install it so that I can view pictures on memory card?

S30 does not support NavPix.

I phoned Navman support and they claimed that it is possible to install the NavPix application on S30 via NavDesk.

But I'm clueless how it can be done Mad

All I want, to see my JPG files in an SD card on S30 screen.

It can't be done. Call them again and ask for instructions -- if they manage to give you instructions that actually work please post them here.

You need at least S50 to do that. Or you can look for S30 unlocking instructions and then install photo viewing application on it . Unlocking will void your warranty, of course, and if you damage your unit in the process the repair will probably cost more than what you paid for it in the first place.
